He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 from a blind man who had come up to him. 2 And what could let you know? Perhaps he (comes to hear you) to be purified. 3 Or be admonished, so that the admonition might have profited him? 4 As for he who is sufficed 5 Unto him thou payest regard. 6 And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified. 7 And as for him who cometh unto thee running, 8 And with fear (in his heart), 9 So you leave him, and are engrossed elsewhere! 10 Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment, 11 and whosoever wills, shall remember it. 12 (This Quran) is also recorded in honorable books, 13 Exalted and purified, 14 By the hands of scribes. 15 noble and most virtuous. 16 Man is (self-)destroyed: how ungrateful! 17 Of what thing did He create him? 18 From a single sperm He created, then proportioned him, 19 then the way eased for him, 20 then He caused him to die and brought him to the grave, 21 then, He will raise him when He wills. 22 Nay, but (man) has not done what He commanded him. 23 Let man consider his food: 24 How We poured down water in torrents, 25 Thereafter We cleave the earth in clefts, 26 Then We cause to grow therein the grain, 27 grapes, vegetables, 28 olives, dates, 29 And thick gardens, 30 And fruits and fodder: 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 Then, when there comes As-Sakhkhah (the Day of Resurrection's second blowing of Trumpet), 33 on that Day each person will flee from his brother, 34 his mother, his father, 35 As well as his wife and children. 36 Everyone on that Day will have affairs to keep him occupied. 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise). 39 And other faces that Day will be dust-stained, 40 Dust shall cover them 41 these, these will be the ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity! 42

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
