He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 Because a blind man came to him. 2 What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace) 3 Or be admonished, so that the admonition might have profited him? 4 As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient, 5 To him you give attention. 6 though you will not be questioned even if he never purifies himself. 7 but as for him who came unto thee full of eagerness 8 And he fears, 9 From him will you divert yourself. 10 By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction: 11 So whoever wills may remember it. 12 On honoured leaves 13 Exalted, pure. 14 by the hands of scribes 15 noble and purified. 16 Perish Man! How unthankful he is! 17 Out of what did Allah create him? 18 From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion; 19 Then He eased the way for him; 20 Then He caused him to die and made him to be buried. 21 and then, if it be His will, He shall raise him again to life, 22 Nay, but [man] has never yet fulfilled what He has enjoined upon him! 23 Then let mankind look at his food - 24 That We pour forth water in abundance, 25 Then We split the earth properly. 26 and therein made the grains to grow 27 together with grapes and vegetables, 28 and olive trees and date-palms, 29 and dense-tree'd gardens, 30 And fruits and herbage: 31 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 32 AND SO, when the piercing call [of resurrection] is heard 33 Man will fly from his brother, 34 and from his mother and father, 35 And from his wife and sons. 36 Everyone on that Day will have affairs to keep him occupied. 37 (Many) faces on that day shall be bright, 38 laughing and joyous 39 whereas some faces will be covered with dust 40 Veiled in darkness, 41 These will be the faces of the sinful disbelievers. 42
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
