He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because the blind man had come in his august presence. 2 And what would make you know that he would purify himself, 3 Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him? 4 Now as for him who believes himself to be self-sufficient 5 you eagerly attended to him -- 6 And you have nothing to lose if he does not become pure. 7 But as to him who came to you running. 8 And whereas he fears, 9 you pay no heed to him. 10 Indeed, this [Quran] is an admonition. 11 and so, whoever is willing may remember Him 12 upon highly honored pages, 13 uplifted, purified, 14 In the hands of scribes 15 Honourable and Virtuous. 16 [But only too often] man destroys himself: how stubbornly does he deny the truth! 17 Of what substance God created him? 18 From a drop of seed. He createth him and proportioneth him, 19 and made the path of guidance easy for him to follow. 20 then causes him to die and buries him, 21 and He will resurrect him whenever He wants. 22 No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him. 23 Let man, then, consider [the sources of] his food: 24 How We poured down water in torrents, 25 and cleaved the earth, cleaving it asunder; 26 And produce therein corn, 27 together with grapes and vegetables, 28 olives, dates, 29 Orchards thick with trees, 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 But when the Shout cometh 33 it will be such a day when a person will run away from his brother, 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 And his wife and his children, 36 On that day, each one has just one issue, which is enough for him. 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news; 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 with darkness overspread: 41 those will be ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity. 42
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
اقرأ القرآن الكريم كله ملونا بالكامل، حيث تولد ألوان وأشكال الصفحات بشكل عشوائي تماما بحيث لا يتكرر التركيب نفسه مرتين.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
