He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 because the blind man approached him! 2 But what could tell you that per chance he might become pure (from sins)? 3 or receive some (Quranic) advice which would benefit him. 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 So you are after him! 6 What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah). 7 And as for him who cometh unto thee running, 8 and in awe of God 9 From him thou art distracted. 10 Assuredly this is a reminder 11 So whosoever willeth - let him be admonished therewlth. 12 upon pages high-honoured, 13 Exalted and purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 noble and virtuous scribes. 16 May (the disbelieving) human being be condemned! What makes him disbelieve? 17 From what substance did He create him? 18 Of a small seed; He created him, then He made him according to a measure, 19 He makes his path easy for him. 20 Then He causes him to die and be buried. 21 then, when He wills, He raises him. 22 Certainly, he has not duly fulfilled His commands. 23 Let the human reflect on the food he eats, 24 We poured out the rains abundantly, 25 Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts], 26 and therein made the grains to grow 27 And grapes and green fodder 28 and the olive, and the palm, 29 And dense gardens, 30 and fruits and fodder 31 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 32 AND SO, when the piercing call [of resurrection] is heard 33 On that day man will run away from his brother. 34 mother, father, 35 wife and sons, 36 Every man of them shall on that day have an affair which will occupy him. 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 Laughing and full of joy, 39 And many a face will be covered with dust on that day. 40 Dust shall cover them 41 Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones. 42
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
