The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 when the mountains shall be set in motion, 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 when the savage beasts shall be brought together, 5 and when the seas boil over, 6 and when all human beings are coupled [with their deeds,] 7 And when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 When Hell is set ablaze, 12 when Paradise is brought near, 13 (Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 that hide, 16 by the night when it approaches 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 who is obeyed there and is worthy of trust. 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 And he is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. 25 Then where are you going? 26 This [message] is no less than a reminder to all mankind 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
