The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
When the sun is covered, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 The mountains made to move, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 When the oceans surge and swell, 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. 8 such as, "For what crime were they murdered?" 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 and when heaven is laid bare, 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 and Paradise is brought near, 13 then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. 14 So verily, I swear by the planets that recede (i.e. disappear during the day and appear during the night). 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger, 19 Owner of power, and high rank with (Allah) the Lord of the Throne, 20 With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. 21 (O people of Makkah), your companion is not mad; 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Whither, then, will you go? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Sustainer of all the worlds, wills [to show you that way]. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
