The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 The wild beasts stampede on the run, 5 the oceans are brought to a boil, 6 And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; 7 And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. 8 For what sin she was killed 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 And when the heaven is torn away. 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 when Paradise is brought near, 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 by the night when it approaches 17 and brightening morning, 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 And it is not the word of an accursed Satan; 25 Then where are you going? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
