The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] 1 And when the stars fall, 2 When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); 3 when the pregnant camels are neglected, 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what sin she was slain, 9 And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; 10 When the world on High is unveiled; 11 and when the blazing fire [of hell] is kindled bright, 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. 14 So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) 15 orbiting, disappearing; 16 and the night as it darkly falls, 17 and the first breath of morning. 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 Obeyed (by the angels), trustworthy there (in the heavens). 21 For, this fellow-man of yours is not a madman: 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of the cursed Shaitan, 25 Whither then go ye? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
