The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 when the mountains shall be set in motion, 3 when the pregnant camels are neglected, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 the oceans are brought to a boil, 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 questions are asked about the baby girls buried alive, 8 For what crime she was put to death; 9 And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; 10 The curtain drawn back from the skies, 11 and when the blazing fire [of hell] is kindled bright, 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 [then] each soul shall know what it has put forward. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 orbiting, disappearing; 16 And the night when it departs, 17 And by the morning when it shineth forth, 18 That this is indeed the word of an honoured Messenger, 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 he indeed saw the message-bearer on the clear horizon; 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 And it is not the word of an accursed Satan; 25 So whither do you stray? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 for whosoever of you would go straight, 28 but you shall not, unless Allah wills, the Lord of all the Worlds. 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
