Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun is overthrown, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 when the mountains shall be set in motion, 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 And when souls are united, 7 and when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 for what sin she was slain, 9 And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 And when hell is lighted, 12 when Paradise is brought close: 13 (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil). 14 So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) 15 the runners, the sinkers, 16 The closing night, 17 And the morning when it brightens, 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 having power, with the Lord of the Throne secure, 20 With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. 21 And your comrade is not mad. 22 Surely he beheld Him on the clear horizon. 23 And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 Whither then will you go? 26 It is nothing but Good Counsel for everyone in the world, 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills – the Lord of the Creation. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
