The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
When the sun is overthrown, 1 The stars turn dim and scatter, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. 8 for what offence was she killed? 9 when the scrolls are unrolled, 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 and when Hell is set ablaze, 12 when Paradise shall be brought nigh, 13 [then] each soul shall know what it has put forward. 14 No indeed; I swear by the alternating stars 15 The planets withdrawing into themselves, 16 and the night as it darkly falls, 17 And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;- 18 Verily, this is the Word (this Quran brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrael (Gabriel), from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]. 19 Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, 20 One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust. 21 And your companion is not insane. 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 Nor of the unseen is he a tenacious concealer. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 Where then are you going? 26 That is but an advice to the entire creation! 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Sustainer of all the worlds, wills [to show you that way]. 29
Almighty God's Truth.
