Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 The mountains made to move, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 the oceans are brought to a boil, 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed 9 And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped, 11 And when hell is lighted, 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 And by the night when it departeth, 17 and brightening morning, 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 Your companion is not possessed; 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Where then are you going? 26 It is nothing but Good Counsel for everyone in the world, 27 to every one of you who wishes to tread the straight path. 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
