The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is folded up, 1 And when the stars darken, 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 And when the camels are left untended, 4 when the savage beasts shall be brought together, 5 and when the seas boil over, 6 And when the souls are paired 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 and when paradise is brought into view: 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 that hide, 16 and sit during the day, or by the darkening night 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 there he is obeyed and held trustworthy. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 he truly beheld [the angel - beheld] him on the clear horizon; 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 And the Qur’an is not the recitation of Satan the outcast. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 It is naught but a reminder for the nations, 27 to every one of you who wishes to tread the straight path. 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
