The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 And when the mountains are removed 3 when the pregnant camels are neglected, 4 when the savage beasts shall be brought together, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 And when souls are united, 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what crime she was killed; 9 And when the books are spread, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped, 11 When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat; 12 and when paradise is brought into view: 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 So, I call the receding stars to witness, 15 That run their course (and) hide themselves, 16 and the night that falls, 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 Verily, this is the Word (this Quran brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrael (Gabriel), from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]. 19 one mighty and held in honour with the Lord of the Throne; 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 And he is of the unseen not a tenacious concealer. 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 So where are you going? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 And ye shall not will unless it be that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, willeth. 29
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
