Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun Kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown). 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 And when the mountains are removed 3 the young barren camels are abandoned, 4 The wild beasts stampede on the run, 5 And when the seas shall be filled, 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 questions are asked about the baby girls buried alive, 8 For what sin she was killed 9 and when the scrolls [of men's deeds] are unfolded, 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 And when the Garden shall be brought nigh, 13 then, each soul shall know what it has produced. 14 I do not need to swear by the orbiting 15 Who move straight and stop. 16 The closing night, 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], 20 The one who is obeyed, and trustworthy. (Other angels obey angel Jibreel). 21 And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; 22 He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. 25 So where are you going? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 to everyone of you who wills to walk a straight way. 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
