The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. 1 when the stars shall scatter away, 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 when the seas are set boiling, 6 when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), 7 And the little girl buried alive is asked 8 For what crime she was killed; 9 And when the pages are made public 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 and Hell is stoked, 12 And when the Garden is brought nigh, 13 (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And by the night when it departeth, 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. 20 there he is obeyed and held trustworthy. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 And this Prophet is not miserly upon the hidden. (Allah gave the knowledge of the hidden to the Holy Prophet peace and blessings be upon him.) 24 And it is not the word of an accursed Satan; 25 So whither do you stray? 26 It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
