The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, 1 And when the stars shall fall; 2 And when the mountains shall be made to pass away, 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 And when the wild beasts are gathered 5 And when the seas are set afire. 6 And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; 7 and when the girl-child buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; 10 The curtain drawn back from the skies, 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 when Paradise is brought close: 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 So I swear by the retreating stars - 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 by the night when it approaches 17 And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. 25 Whither then will you go? 26 This is naught else than a reminder unto creation, 27 To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight, 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
