Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 And when the stars shall dart down, 2 When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 the oceans are brought to a boil, 6 And when the souls are paired 7 And when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 Upon what sin was she killed for. 9 when the scrolls shall be unrolled, 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. 12 when Paradise shall be brought nigh, 13 Every soul will know what it had prepared. 14 I do not need to swear by the orbiting 15 the runners, the sinkers, 16 And by the night as it closes in 17 And by the dawn as it brightens; 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned 20 With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 This is a reminder for all the peoples of the world, 27 to every one of you who wishes to tread the straight path. 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Sustainer of all the worlds, wills [to show you that way]. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
