Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild animals are made to go forth, 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; 7 And the little girl buried alive is asked 8 Upon what sin was she killed for. 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 When the world on High is unveiled; 11 and Hell is stoked, 12 And when the Garden is brought nigh, 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 And by the night when it departeth, 17 And the morning when it brightens, 18 Verily it is a Word brought by a messenger honoured, 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 who is obeyed there and is worthy of trust. 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. 24 Nor is this [message] the word of any satanic force accursed. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 for everyone of you who wishes to follow the Straight Way; 28 And ye shall not will unless it be that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, willeth. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
