The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] 1 when the stars are thrown down, 2 When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); 3 the young barren camels are abandoned, 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 and when the seas boil over, 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 And when the Writs shall be lain open, 10 and when heaven is laid bare, 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 when Paradise shall be brought nigh, 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 No! I swear by the slinkers, 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 And the close of night, 17 and the morn as it softly breathes: 18 Verily this is the word of a noble message-bearer; 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 Where then will you go? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
