The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be wound round, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the mountains are removed 3 And when milch camels roam abandoned. 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 and when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 for what offence was she killed? 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 when Paradise is brought close: 13 then shall a soul know what it has produced. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And by the night when it departeth, 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. 21 And your comrade is not mad. 22 And of a truth he saw himself on the clear horizon. 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 So where are you going? 26 It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
