The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 And when the mountains are driven. 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 The wild beasts stampede on the run, 5 when the seas are set boiling, 6 And when the souls are paired 7 and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 And when the heaven has its covering removed, 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when the garden is brought nigh, 13 then shall a soul know what it has produced. 14 No indeed; I swear by the alternating stars 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 and by the night as it recedes, 17 And by the dawn as it brightens; 18 Verily, this is the Word (this Quran brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrael (Gabriel), from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]. 19 Owner of power, and high rank with (Allah) the Lord of the Throne, 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 And this Prophet is not miserly upon the hidden. (Allah gave the knowledge of the hidden to the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him.) 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 Where to are you then heading? 26 This is naught else than a reminder unto creation, 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Sustainer of all the worlds, wills [to show you that way]. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
