The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sun is overthrown, 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 And when the mountains are removed 3 And when milch camels roam abandoned. 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 And when the souls are paired 7 and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask 8 for what crime she had been slain, 9 and when the scrolls [of men's deeds] are unfolded, 10 And when the heaven is torn away. 11 hell is made to blaze, 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 then, each soul shall know what it has produced. 14 So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And the Night as it dissipates; 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 Owner of power, and high rank with (Allah) the Lord of the Throne, 20 who is obeyed there and is worthy of trust. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. 24 This is not the utterance of an accursed devil. 25 So whither do you stray? 26 It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, 27 For whoever wills among you to take a right course. 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
