The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 And when the stars fall, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 When the she-camels, ten months with young, are left untended; 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what sin she was slain, 9 and when the scrolls [of men's deeds] are unfolded, 10 when the sky is unveiled, 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 when Paradise shall be brought nigh, 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 And by the night as it closes in 17 and the morning when it extends, 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; 22 he indeed saw the message-bearer on the clear horizon; 23 And this Prophet is not miserly upon the hidden. (Allah gave the knowledge of the hidden to the Holy Prophet peace and blessings be upon him.) 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 Whither, then, will you go? 26 This [message] is no less than a reminder to all mankind 27 (With profit) to whoever among you wills to go straight: 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
