Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Noble and recording; 11 who know whatever you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
