Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 noble, recording, 11 They know whatever you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
