Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 noble scribes, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
