Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the sky is split, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble, writers 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
