Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
