Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 Who know what you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
