Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
