Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 noble scribes 11 who know all that you do: 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Shattering (Al-Infitaar). Sent down in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
