Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Honorable recorders, 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
