Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
