Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Noble and recording; 11 who know all that you do: 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
