Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 watching over you 11 They know all that you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
