Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 who know what you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
