Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 Who know what you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
