Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Illustrious scribes 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
