Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 Noble and recording; 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
