Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 Who know what you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
