Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
