Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Illustrious scribes 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
