Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 noble, recording, 11 who know all that you do: 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
