Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know whatever you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
