Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
