Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Illustrious scribes 11 who know what you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
