Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Illustrious scribes 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
