Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 Generous and recording, 11 They know what you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
