Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble, writers 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
